This study focuses on designing an intelligent motorcycle security system named Motorcycles Smart Security System (Mo-SSeS) using Internet of Things (IoT). This system aims to enhance motorcycle safety and was first introduced in 2023. The system includes a camera and GPS sensors that are integrated with the Raspberry Pi through the IoT (Telegram). It provides real-time monitoring and is accessible remotely with ease. The study results show that the system's electrical voltage testing only shows a 7.62-volt difference between the Accu and LM338 sensor. There is a 9.86-volt difference between the Rectifier Regulator and LM338 sensor. The battery system testing indicates that the lowest voltage difference was 0.0173 Volt during the first testing time. Besides, the GPS module can control the motorcycle within 1.124 meters, which is the lowest distance difference between the GPS sensor and Google Maps. The camera installed in the system can capture photos of suspected motorcycle thieves and send them directly to the vehicle owner through the Telegram app. The system also successfully minimized the hardware component, as the previous study in 2023 used very complex physical hardware. In summary, the system effectively integrates IoT technology to monitor motorcycle condition and position, enhancing its security features. © 2024 IEEE.
