The present research is the conclusive part of a project which started with the overall objective to evaluate best practices of financial management for Indian healthcare service providers. The initial exploratory phase has been carried out as qualitative research in which we have discovered that financial management in Indian healthcare service sector is getting done with the use of artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies. Using AI the finance managers are now able to analyze huge amount of health data and then taking decision that consequently improving patient care, operational efficiency and outcomes. But we have also identified a research problem that the advanced technologies including AI which are getting used for financial management needs to be integrated with the best practices in the industry. So, this study is an attempt to map the best practices of financial management in the healthcare sector and recommend the research community about its findings. The findings of the present study will be unquestionably relevant for researchers, students, faculty members, technology experts and entrepreneurs in specific. © 2026 IEEE.
